Club Notes – 10th January 2018

Thurles & District Camera Club

Last Saturday we hosted the Southern Association of Camera Clubs I.P.F regional Nature competition in the Interprative Centre at Cabragh Wetlands .

It was a busy day for the venue as there was a Workshop on Climate Change taking place on the ground floor. However, everything went off very smooth. Our thanks to Paddy Loughnane who ensured that the car parking was done in an orderly fashion.

A big thank you to the members that supplied items for our hamper as our raffle went well and to the Eileen & Jim for the catering which was very much appreciated.

A big thank you to Michael Long of Interprative Centre at Cabbragh Wetlands for all his cooperation both leading up to the event and on the day, itself.

A reminder that on this Wednesday January 17th we have the submission of entries for the “Still Life” competition.

We are going over to Templemore Town Park for a session on Night Photography this Wednesday 17th .

Members interested should meet up outside the entrance to the GAA pitch in Templemore @ 7.30pm.

On Wednesday January 24th we have the judging of our “Still Life” and also our AGM.

It would be appreciated if members submitted any ideas/suggestions this week
